Speech and Language Therapy
About Me
I have worked for the NHS as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in the field of early years complex needs and dysphagia (feeding and swallowing difficulties). I have also had roles in a range of settings including community clinics, nurseries, mainstream and special schools. I currently work part time for the NHS as a Neurodevelopmental Specialist.
In my independent work I am motivated by a family-centred and neurodiversity affirming approach to communication. I am constantly adapting my input to meet the unique needs of the families I work with but also to change with the research and latest evidence about how to most effectively support children and young people with communication needs.
I specialise in early years/pre-school, complex needs (PMLD) and autism but have worked with a wide range of diverse groups. Please get in touch if you would like more information about whether I am the right therapist to support your child.
